As our products are made using the same materials that are used to create Toys, our products are suitable for babies to use as a teething tool whilst being worn by the parent. Do not leave your child unattended with any of our necklaces.

Safety aspects

Mama Jewels Mummy proof Jewellery is designed to be worn by Mums, not children!

Our jewellery carries a 0-3 warning as there is a risk of small parts and strangulation if you were to leave your child unattended with your jewellery.

Our jewellery is tested by a UKAS Independent test house for compliance with BS EN 71. Part 1, 2 and 3.

On-going strength testing is carried out in house using a batch testing system where we batch test a number of necklaces each month or a when new consignment of materials are received, based upon a percentage of production. Records of this testing are available.

All of our products carry a 1 year no quibble guarantee.

Unlike other similar products, we use knotted soft, flexible and washable acrylic thread, so that the beads can easily be flexed and are really comfy to wear, with no fear of catching or pulling hair

Returns process

Exchanging an item

If you would like to exchange your item for an alternative, please email us sales@mamajewels.co.uk to let us know which design you would like to exchange for – please state your original order number in your email.

You will need to return your original item and we will invoice / refund any difference in price for your exchange via Paypal. An additional post out charge is applicable.

Faulty items

If your item is faulty, please return to the following address complete with all labelling and packaging for a complete and full refund.

Mama Jewels Care Instructions

STORAGE

To keep your jewellery dust and dirt free, and to prevent unwanted oxidation or tarnishing, store your pieces in the jewelry box provided with the lid closed

WASHING

Wash using warm soapy water and dry by hanging up to drip dry. Do not wear your jewellery whilst wet.

If stated on the label your Mama Jewels jewellery may be washed / sterilised – Place in steam steriliser or Cutlery tray of dishwasher and wash as normal but without detergent.

CHEMICALS

Your jewellery is made using Non-toxic dyes, so remember to apply your hairspray, perfume, and cosmetics before putting your jewelry on and make sure it is fully dry prior to putting on your jewellery. Some perfumes can affect the appearance of the dyes when wet.
